Anime Origins Igris World Boss: Fragments, Clashes, 25% HP Rule & Solo Team

The fight

Igris is the only world boss on launch, fought in the Crimson Throne Room (world boss building next to Infinity Mansion). The rules pop up on entry:

  1. Enemies drop fragments; collect five to trigger a clash (a timing mini-game — hit the green).
  2. Win the clash → his shield breaks and your units can damage him; each clash allows at most 25% of his max HP (about 1,000,000 HP, so ~250k per window of ~11–12 seconds).
  3. Lose the clash → you lose a base stock, and a failed clash gives him two attacks to your one.
  4. He dashes and stuns units (≈10s, occasionally ≈30s); enemies get stronger the longer it runs. At ~100k HP he walks the platform, which is easier.

Team

  • Two hill units (Akeno ×2 or Akeno + Vegeta) to hold the fodder — Akeno also stuns and is AoE; Gojo cannot be stunned and slows, also a good pick.
  • Two farms in the middle (Bulma, Leorio).
  • DPS: a secret with Immortal does ~250k in seconds (Madara/Alucard); with mythics, stack two DPS (Meliodas + Stark / Kenpachi / Sasuke) and consider the Ascendant trait. Do not bring Igris himself (you are farming him).
  • If a unit eats the 30-second stun and you have spare money, sell and re-place it.

Rewards and shop

40–50 tokens per clear. Open the arcane chest (chance at the Igris unit, no pity, chance at an abyssal key) or spend an abyssal key on the abyssal chest (pity, fusion cores). Shop order: crimson shoulder pad (Igris item) → abyssal keys. Every clear also yields a key if you are lucky from the chest.

Why grind him

Igris is a mythic whose Crimson Overload frenzy posts the highest non-secret DPS numbers on launch (~23k per slash, 31k buffed in showcases), and fusion cores are how you ascend secrets. See units, ascension, best team.
