Anime Origins Traits List & Trait Rerolls (August 2026)
Trait table
| Trait | Odds | Effect | Passive / notes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Immortal | 0.1% | +200% damage, 15% cooldown reduction, +20% range, +25% income | Once per match after wave 10: on zero base stocks restore base power, kill nearby non-boss enemies, knock back and slow the rest. Only one unit per team can equip it. |
| Overseer | — | Bonus true damage equal to 30% of damage dealt | Pure damage trait; the usual fallback when your Immortal slot is taken. |
| Ascendant | — | Damage + range | Creators call it the "second best" roll; recommended for Vegeta and for Igris DPS checks. |
| Decay | — | +40% damage-over-time damage, 10% cooldown, 25% range | Best-in-slot for bleed/poison units (Alucard, Shinobu). |
| Tempo | — | Attacks build tempo stacks up to a total 30% cooldown reduction; at max stacks +10% range | Lowers damage as the trade-off. |
| Jester | — | +5% damage, -5% cooldown, +5% range | Every wave each stat is randomly modified by 0–25%. |
| Boss killer | — | Bonus damage to bosses | Generic boss trait; fine on single-target units for raids. |
| Money / income trait | — | +30% income (creator estimate — Immortal's +25% is "5% less than the money trait") | For farm units only. |
| Hawkeye · Scholar · Ace · Nimble · Hustler · Stride · Rupture | — | Lower-tier stat traits seen on the reroll wheel | Scholar (XP) is a reasonable levelling roll; Hustler is the "any rainbow" filler. Exact values not published. |
Reroll rules that save rerolls
- Carries first. Roll units with a permanent slot: your main DPS, then Gojo/Ban, then hills. Never roll legendaries.
- One Immortal. Decide who holds it before rolling; a second Immortal cannot be equipped at the same time, only stored.
- Use auto-reroll with a stop list. The station can auto-roll; stop at Overseer/Ascendant on DPS, Decay on DoT units, the money trait on farms.
- Stat prisms are separate. Stat Prisms and Perfect Stat Prisms reroll stat grades (up to SSS) at the stat reroll station — a different currency from traits; both come from codes.
Where rerolls come from
- Codes — the fastest source on launch (100K!, HappyPatch!, TYKaito! and AO give 25 each).
- Raids and the raid shop; rift and world-boss shops sell materials rather than rerolls.
- Daily spin, daily/playtime rewards, group rewards (join the Origins Project group), quests, level milestones and the recyclable battle-pass tiers — see gem farming.
Traits FAQ
How do I get trait rerolls in Anime Origins?
Codes (launch codes give 150+ combined), the daily spin, daily and playtime rewards, group rewards, raids (about 100 rerolls per week from the two raids according to raid farmers), quests, milestones and the battle pass. Creators estimate 100–200 rerolls a day if you clear everything.
Can a unit hold more than one trait?
Yes — units store two traits and you can swap between them from the unit card. That is how you move Immortal between units without losing the other roll.
Is there a trait pity?
Creators mention a pity counter on the reroll screen, but nobody has published the threshold; we will add it when a dated source does.
Which unit should get Immortal?
Your single biggest damage dealer that benefits from buffs — Madara or Igris are the common picks. Not a hill unit (you want Immortal on the carry) and not Toji (he cannot receive buffs anyway; his own stats are the point).
