Gojo in Anime Origins: Time Stop, Evolution & Best Use
Kit
- Infinity (domain): slows enemies inside his range; several creators rate this the strongest crowd-control aura on launch.
- Time stop (active): ~60s cooldown; freezes enemies while your team keeps attacking. He cannot be stunned himself, which makes him the safe AoE pick against Igris.
- Placement: ground. Pair with a hill unit for flyers.
Evolution
Gojo's materials come from the rift shop (cursed tickets) — the same shop that sells Toji and Yuta items. Until you can clear the Shibuya Metro rift, keep him unevolved and spend early materials on Vegeta, Goku or Akeno.
Where to use him
- Igris world boss: slow + immunity to the boss's stun dashes.
- Infinity Mansion: time stop buys your DPS a full cycle on late floors.
- With Yuta: double time stop. See the tier list for the support bracket (Gojo > Ban > Mikey).
Gojo FAQ
How do I evolve Gojo?
His evolution items are sold in the rift shop for cursed tickets earned by clearing the Shibuya Metro rift, so you need to be able to clear rifts first. That is why launch guides tell you to evolve Vegeta, Goku or Akeno before Gojo.
Is Gojo a DPS or support?
Support first: his infinity domain slows everything in range and his active time stop freezes waves for the duration. He still deals respectable damage, which is why some lists call him a DPS/support mix like Meliodas.
Can Yuta copy Gojo's time stop?
Yes. In showcases Yuta copied the time stop and the two stacked, since copied abilities run on separate cooldowns.
